Juvenile Court Division Judicial Citizen Panel The Judicial Citizen Panel is a panel of volunteers who reside or work in Muscogee County, who are over the age  of 18 and complete an initial 15 hours of training provided by the Council of Juvenile Court Judges. This panel  works closely with DFCS, parents and the children to review case plans for the reunification of families or to  recommend alternatives such as adoptions, relative placement, independent living or another planned permanent  living arrangement. After initial training, members are assigned to a panel that meets for half a day once a month.  Members have the option to choose if morning or afternoon will better suit their scheduling needs. Because of the  nature of the cases, members are asked to commit to a minimum of one year. A commitment to the welfare of the  children and families of the community is necessary. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for this greatly  important service, please contact the Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office at (706) 653-4290.  Muscogee County Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Courts Established: November 2011 Comments & Feedback
